CGC Chambers bagged the Championship of CAPRISA (Cabuyao Private Schools Association) Music and Dance Competition to bring CGC its first trophy of the school year.
During the contest at St. Jerome Integrated School, the Chambers sang to overpower opponents and placed first in the said contest.
20 students from Junior and Senior High department composed the team.
From an intermission number performed last year, Chambers then climbed their way to the top through the help of their mentor, the late Maestro Jonard Anaya
” I am very proud of our team’s achievement “. Our Collective efforts had been rewarded. As a new team, we never expected anything but thanks to Sir Anaya, we were able to bring our best during the contest. Even though he is gone, his legacy will remain in this group.” said Glidel Ello, a member of the Chambers said.
CGC Chambers of Singers were expected to continue joining other competitions through the help of the school management. CITI Global College expansion continues Center for Information Technology and Interdisciplinarity (CITI) Global College continued to expand as a new building is expected to rise on Poblacion Uno, Cabuyao City. CGC Cabuyao Senior High Principal, Maria Concepcion Gallego said that the proposed building would in addition of the existing new building at Bayanwalk, Poblacion Dos.
“Watch out for the future of CGC, the new building would be big enough to accommodate students in one campus.” said Ms. Gallego
The new building was expected to be finished around 2019 and be ready for school year 2019-2020.
Aside from the planned building, CGC branches proliferated from one branch in 2011 to 4 Campuses in Cabuyao, Binan, Sta. Rosa and Calamba respectively.
Mr. Joselito Macalipay, Head of External Affairs hinted that there would be another CGC branch being open any time soon.
