CITI Global College Phoenix showed superiority at Table Tennis Men’s Division as it claimed both Singles A and B Championship.
During the CAPRISA Sports Contest at St. Vincent College of Cabuyao, John Glenn Permejo of 11 GAS 2 and Edgar Malupeng of 12 STEM 3 overpowered their opponents to be ahead of the pack.
Permejo outlasted his opponent in four sets dropping the third with a score of 11-10, 11-8 10-11, 11-7 while Malupeng secured an early lead leaving his opponent in dust, winning in straight sets 11-5, 11-4, 11-8.
Coach Keziah Dela Cruz was proud of her team and said to expect more powerful CGC Table Tennis team as they move on to the next round where they will face other players at Dual Meet.
