Selected Senior High Students of CITI Global College attended the first Young Entrepreneurs Summit (YES) that enhances leadership skills and promotes starting a business among youth.
In an interview, attendee, Samuel Norte said that they joined the said event at Malayan Colleges Laguna to learn the basics of starting a business and be a leader in their own right.
“This kinds of seminars really helps students like me to maximize my own potential. I was inspired by the talks made by the speakers. Being exposed to different people boosts my confidence and I can’t wait for more of this.”
National and local businessmen led the event by giving tips, advices, do’s and don’ts when starting a business with an open forum after segment.
The Voice Master Pocholo Gonzales as well as Cabuyao’s very own Jed Bella gave their life story to the youth of Cabuyao.
On the other hand, City Mayor Rommel Gecolea cited the reason for the said event and layed all the projects of his administration like the renovation of Ospital ng Cabuyao, construction of a City Sports Center and another new hospital during his speech.
The whole day seminar ended with the inauguration of Young Entrepreneurs’ Society of Cabuyao that aims to aid those willing to start a business have a headstart on their goals.
